Sweet Southern Comfort

Chan Chan still sleeps with us (i love it) and this past week when we got up and had our family play session in the bed before daddy went to work Chan was rocking the saggiest diaper ever.
Good Morning Mommy

I will miss these days when she was little enough to sleep with us and have snuggle play time when she wakes up.

Almost once a week I go to Boone Hall and pick the fresh vegetables. This time Maria and I took the girls to get blackberries, strawberries, and squash. (Blueberries are coming up next week : ) yay for fresh fruits and veggies).

Thanks for our new favorite stroller Yeates family! Channing loves it because it lets her sit up and she feels like a big girl.

We went down to Georgia this weekend to see Opa (Davids dad) and Meme (Pam Davids dads girlfriend). We had a BLAST. The first night we grilled out and then played some Phase 10 with Kristin and Daniel(Davids brother). The next day we got up went to he lake then went to eat and spent the night at Pam's house and played some more phase 10. The next day we got up and swam and hung out and then went home. It was so fun to spend time catching up with Davids family.

All in All it was a great weekend and we can't wait to see everyone again



*Random side notes

*I signed up for a 5k a 10k and a half marathon with my work out class..ahhh so excited and scared
*I had to go get my joints xrayed and they decided I have a viral infection causing all my joints to swell and hurt really bad...to get the xrays I had to go to Charleston Bone and Joint (the place my Uncle David worked) and it made me miss him really bad : ( I have never meet anyone with anything not nice to say about him. They all were telling me stories about how much the staff and patients loved him..made me proud that he was my uncle

Start of Summer 2011

Channing has officially become an adult and is eating real people food : ) which being the fatty she is loves it. She doesn't really eat it so I don't think that she so much loves eating the food I think she just loves thinking shes a grown up and getting to eat food and chew on a spoon. She had taken one bite and was so excited to eat some more. p.s. this is gluten free organic oatmeal because her mama has so many food allergies its annoying and now has to add gluten to the list

When we were finished she was covered head to toe this child didn't keep any of it in her mouth ..you can't really see but its hanging off her chin, in between her eyebrows, in her ears, you name it and it is there lol



The next day we went to the beach and this time Channing had a blast.

Saturday night was Davids old buddy from the Citadel, John and Laura's wedding. We loved getting to see and catch up with all of Davids old friends from school and I really enjoy getting to spend time with there girlfriends and wives. I'm ready for them to start having babies so we can all hang out more. Chan decided to be a diva that night and wouldn't let anyone hold her and made us leave early (mental note leave channing home next time lol)

The wedding was at the Citadel Church and the reception was at the Charleston Yacht Club. Laura and John were so beautiful together and I am excited they are moving back to Charleston!

p.s. officially a week and a half without sugar and without gluten..go me!

Baby Laugh

I like to post videos every now and then so my family that doesn't live here can see how much Channing is growing and developing (mainly for kori ..wish we lived closer : ( ... one day) I love hanging out with Channing recently she has become a gigle ball and it makes my day go from frustrating to amazing when I hear her little laugh.

"dead last"

Well this is going to be a long post....



Last Thursday after work out class Maria invited Channing and I over to "craft". We ended up not getting any of our crafts done because three little kids does not equate to needles threads and other crafting things, but we had fun hanging out and doing a lot of other things. One thing that we did was sign up for the biggest mud run in the United States. You have to have four members on your team so Maria, her husband Will, David, and I all signed up with the name "dead last". I'm so excited!Check this out and get excited : ).
(still teethingCadence and Kylee were sooo cute with Channing they both played with her and made her laugh and smile. Channing loves other babies its so sweet to see her try and play with them. Cadence would rock her in the jumper and make her jump and kylee kept doing the sign language sign for baby over and over again lol.
We owe Maria huge for letting us borrow this jumper Channing LOVES it and I love it because I can get some things done.


The next day was cold so Chan got to wear the dress Aunt Faith got her one more time.




Saturday was Natalie and Nicoles prom. It was fun helping them do there dresses and hair and makeup and take pictures (even though they turned out blurry : ( ... o well).

The next day was Sunday...Channings blessing day and mothers day. I don't have the pictures of Channings blessing on this camera so ill have to post them later. David did great on his first mothers day. He took Channing in the morning so i could sleep for 30 glorious minutes more and let me take an hour nap after church so awesome!. He then cooked me dinner and gave me my present : ) . He got me Channings newborn pictures from bella baby I almost cried. I wanted them so bad when she was born but they are so expensive that we didn't get them and I've mentioned so many times that I wish we would have gotten them. So he went and called them and tracked down the pictures hes so sweet. Some of my favorites...

Monday I tried to catch up on house work and then Mary Jo and Georgi came to relieve us so we could go to the park and walk.
Channing wore this adorable purple skirt a onesie that kori made her with ruffles on the butt and the cutest shoes every that her aunt kori gave her!
She always fights me to roll over when i change her now and flips over when I throw away her diaper but it showed off her shoes perfect with the little bows around her ankle.
