Well I have missed alot of opportunity to take pictures lately. Boo : (. We went down to Aiken for David's family Christmas get together and I didn't take one picture! We stayed with Kristin and Daniel and went down to Aunt Vickeys for the get together. Aunt Vickey gave Channing a Christmas ornament and GG gave Channing a walmart gift card. She also gave David special one dollar silver certificates that were his Grandpas. He loved those (I accidentally spent them over Christmas break because he put them in my wallet for safe keeping and I forgot they were in there and spent them because they look exactly like one dollar bills) (David was sad, I cried...) It was a special treat to get to see Aunt Vickey, GG, Randy, Lynn, and kids. We don't get to see them enought! Lori also spent the night with us one night and we stayed up playing the dirty version of Apples to Apples and laughed until we cried (Kristin literally did hahahha).
The week before we left we got to spend time with our good friends the Stone-Herlockers. (They both started nursing school now so we don't see them as much..sad..) But as a last horah Mary Jo took me to see Mama Mia the musical. The men watched the babies..

andddddd right when people started showing up my camera died : ( so Natalie took pictures of it and has yet to send them to me...NATALIEEE send me the pictures. My best friends showed up and my family (also my bestest friends) were all there. Thank you guys for supporting the princess I had a fun night with all of you eating cupcakes and pizza : ) (channings first pizza minus the cheese because she is still allergic)
Love this little baby! She loves pushing around her birthday present from mommy and daddy (it also came with high chair, crib, and car seat...all that she insists on sitting in..i have to push her around in her baby stroller after she pushes her baby in it)
The day after Channings party she got really sick. Fever, upper respiratory infection, coughing, throwing up etc. When she gets sick unlike normal babies she refuses to sleep ...period..nada..not one hour....it is hell for Mommy and Daddy. We ended up exhausted the next 3 days and got sick ourselves. This was not fun trying to pack to Idaho. My dad also got sick and with all of us sick there was no way we were going to make our flight so Dad hired a plane to take us to Idaho so we could lay down in the back and try and get sicky to sleep.

The first day we got to Idaho it was Christmas Eve. I was mucho sick. 102 fever and felt like I was going to die. I spent my day laying on the couch hiding from Channing with a blanket over my face. I couldn't force myself to go lay in the bed and not get to see Channing all day. I also got to watch Mom and Kori decorate the Christmas tree. It was BEAUTIFUL!

Channing loving on papa
Mom and Dad asked for written letters from all of us of a memory we had with them growing up. Mom was reading her letter I wrote her.
Later that day Grandma Sydney and Papa Hale came up to the ranch. Channing was helping Grandma play
The girls spent the majority of the Christmas break putting together a crazy hard puzzle (that kori and I finished new years eve..minutes before the clock struck..yeaaaaaa..were that lame now hahaha) and Chan loving on her Papa
She was a spoiled by her aunties while we were there (I was also spoiled with all the help). Aunt Natalie made Channing butterfly and heart pancakes.
Channing has a bad problem of drinking and driving...girl put that milk bottle down!
Mom and Dads anniversary is on the 28th of December and we spent the day duck hunting and then we had a nice dinner. Mom finished reading her letters that we wrote and they exchanged gifts. Dad got mom a matching eternity band to go with her 25th anniversary ring and mom got dad a box with engraving that fit him perfectly.

We spent every day shooting, hunting, and fishing..
When the weather warmed up Channing was a happy camper and Daddy took her on a ride she loved it

Doggy had to travel with us everywhere including church...I basically wanted to die when I went to church out there all of the women in Grace, Idaho are like supper moms that get preggo, pop a baby out, becomes a size zero immediately after the baby comes out, has 5 billion children, and still can look like good, be crafty, and raise their kids...don't ask me how they do it..it is a mystery..I barely am alive with one baby
Channing is ridiculously cute when she sleeps. I tried to take a picture of her from the monitor and it didn't work to well. She sleeps with her hiney pokeing really high in the air...(left of photo) and her face snuggled up in the blankie (towards right of photo)
We stayed at moms house when we got home (we have been there for a couple of months..just moved home mid jan) Channing and I took our daily walks..why is she so cute!? and why is it that animal ears on anything makes it automatically 50% cuter? (thanks mollie for jacket)
We went over to Mollies to catch up and play with Bay and E. They gave her a birthday present! She proceeded to carry it around everywhere she went for a day and a half lol. (p.s. she did have her hair done I do not let her look like a hooligan)
Channing got sick for a day (yea basically we've been sick all of Dec and some of Jan..sucked) she wanted to lay next to mommy and on mommy the whole night <3 sweet pumpkin
We took Channing to the beach on Saturday. She loved it!
She loved squishing the sand in her hands, picking up the sea shells, discovering the water, and all the wildlife..
There was a man with his sons feeding some of the seagulls. He gave some of the chips to Channing and she about died when she got to feed the birds....
5 or 6 of them literally would be hovering right in front of our faces. They would swoop down and snatch the chip out of our hands, it reminded me of the movie birds and it scared the crap outa me!
It has been warm all December and Jan! AMAAAZZIINNGGG! I love it! Channing has discovered the trampoline and has so much fun jumping (she actually jumps it is funny to watch). She also takes her spatulas everywhere with them and likes the gel part to teeth on them.
Again what a difference a year makes! (this was actually more like half a year) The bottom one was on our recent trip to Idaho over Christmas. She always plays with Daddy on our morning snuggle time. Hearing her sweet little laughter always starts my day out right. If you are ever having a bad day just come listen to her laugh and you will be good to go.
One last thing before I sign off... New Years Resolution Time! I have several goals for this year and I need to write them down because there is a saying that a goal will always be a dream until you write it down...so here we go my top goals of 2012
1) Spend less - everyone who knows me knows that I am an addictive deal shopper I love finding things for a dollar, two, maybe even three. I am trying to live more in the present and stop buying things for the future. I have made a goal to not buy and clothing or toys for Channing and myself for the month of jan and feb. I have allready had the HARDEST time becuase everyone is having all of there Christmas is over come spend all your money with us sales..and I am dying...uggggg I almost caved the other day when I was at Babies R Us returning stuff. I picked out the cutest dress I have ever seen with the perfect ocasion in mind with matching shoes. I got to the register and then after they rang it up I thought about it and told them never mind that I was going to stick to my goal ...it was a sad day...but I am going to be stronger and better because of this and break my deal addiction
2) Bye Bye lard that clings to my love handles! I gained more than people should gain with twins when I was pregnant with Channing...awesome..yea I know..The first 20 pounds after having Channing fell off without much work (most of it being the baby, placenta, and water) so duh it fell off kinda easy. I have since lost 25 more pounds and worked my butt off for those 25 pounds! So all together 45 gone...15 still to be dominated this year...I CAN DO IT!!!
3) Exercise at least three times a week...my goal was to run a half marathon this year...well my body is crap..so I am going to try and train for one because my sister just signed up for one and if my body holds out I will go do it with her..but if not I am going to make the time to get in mama time and work this lard out
4) Buy a house this year...I can't believe I am saying that! woot woot. We put an offer on a house we hope to get and flip...we wont sell it for a coupld of years but I am so excited to start the process
5) Take time to get a babysitter and spend more quality time with the hubbs and make sure we have a rock solid foundation...yay for more date nights!!!
6) Build a baby- I still can't fully write this and plan on it because I am still so scared of this! I barely survived being pregnant and a newborn without an infant so I don't think it will work to well with an infant...but I really really think it is important to give Channing a sibbling (prefrably a sister) so I hope to start trying next December (people who read my blog...if anyone does besides kori lol) don't hold me to this
7) be done with school!!!!
8) be the best mom that I possibly can to my baby..teach her..love her..and let her know how much she means to me!
2012 is going to be an awesome year and is going to get OWNED!!!
