Sweet Pea

My sweet baby girl has become the lead terrorist of all terrorist. She is into anything and everything!!!! Her favorite things to mess with are things she KNOWS she is not allowed to. For an example I think I got up and down a hundred and four times yesterday in an hour to retrieve her from blowing raspberries and chewing all over the nasty doormat that people wipe there shoes off on when they come into the house. Add the doormat with ripping the blue ray player off the tv stand with her super sonic baby strength, trying to stick her hand into everything electrically charged, and making a hobby out of tasting shoes. The worst thing is that whenever I see her head for something she is not supposed to be doing, or catch her in the process I say "Channing, No" She turns around shakes her head at me, smiles, and then tries to do whatever she is not supposed to as fast as she can because she knows I am coming to move her. OOOOOO I already dread what is to come hahah. This is Channing chewing on Moms keys (i gave up with the keys they basically have become one of channings toys now..whatever) She actually let go of the couch here and stood for a while on her own while she chewed which she has started to do frequently.My friend Jessica sent Channing the cutest bracelets and headband. This is Chan wearing one of the bracelets.We went with Georgi and Mary jo to pick grapes at Boone Hall. We got there and realized that even though the sign said grapes it was actually muscadines? don't know how to spell that. We didn't end up buying any lolShe wasn't crazy about the taste of them hahah.Little georgi in the row of grapes : )We went over to my friend Dianas house for dinner and play time. She is expecting a baby (i think its a girl, but i guess girl for everyone lol)Of course chan was into everything...The food was amazinggggg..mmmmmmmmmand chan learned how to crawl up stairs while we were there..and was very excited about it The next day we went to see our friends Sydney and her baby Lucy. Lucy was so chill and chan of course was allll over her following her every where she crawled and having to be near her constantly little spaz. Lucy was calmly talking and chewing on her water bottle so Chan crawled over and positioned herself toe to toe with Lucy and for about 30 minutes they grabbed each others water bottle continually swapping the exact same thing like the other one was better haha and talking/screaming to each other.I can never get channings hair in a pony without it falling out or it literally having one strand of hair in it so syd did it for me (shes a hair stylist so shes used to dealing with squirming clients lol)We are def in trouble when these two get olderSo whenever Channing sees the camera she gets extremely excited and smiles and snorts..which leads to alot of my pictures looking like thisWe went to the pool and Channing wore a new bathing suite I got her at a yard sale for a dollarLittle lady bugs! That night we came home and went to Yamattos to celebrate Lendrums and Aunt Faiths birthday!Happy Birthday!!!The next day was Saturday and we went to Rachels baby shower in the morning. (shes going through a really snuggly stage : ) i love it )and that afternoon we went to celebrate Atticus turning 2! They each had there own computerI helped Julie make little car cakes for the party!He loves the movie cars and the characters..this is one of his presents that he lovedChan is walking things around the room nowbirthday boy blowing out his candleevery night David and I pick a couple of books and we read them with Chan before bed timeshe isnt really intrested yet and has to have a toy to play with or something to chew on while we read but I hope it helps her learn to love to read like I doshe realized I was taking a picture..channing does not like drinking out of sippy cups but does really well drinking out of big girl cups with assistance of course)I know most babies do this but I love how she crosses her feet when she falls asleep, eats, or is restingWhen I go to turn the car on channing is usually on my hip and fights tooth and nail to get out of my hands so she can pretend drive for a minute or two before we go anywhereThis time we were going to visit Mollie. Ethan made a fort for him and chan to play in..after they were done with the fort he bounced around the whole house on a giant red bouncy ball and chan and bay chased after him around and around in circles it was so cutebusted pulling the cover of the blue ray player so she can get to the buttonsWhen daddy got home we celebrated by going to Menchies and eating some ice cream (this was the first time we bought food for chan when we went out to eat..crazy that she is so big : ( and gets her own meal) We drew a picture before we left ..I also gave in trying to keep my computer away..sorry if your getting spam emails hahaThis child is having a blast standing up everywhere playing with everything her favorite toy right now is her baby piano she pulls it off the shelf as soon as shes up from her naps to play her mom some beautiful music that soothes your nerves (yea right) "it's not who you are that holds you back..it's who you think you are" everyone go conquer everything you ever wanted!

Family Reunion

I kept hearing stories about how chiropractors can help babies sleep and be in a better mood, so after a week of no sleep (turns out it was because we reduced channings acid reflux medicine and she still needs a full dose..even at 8 months..blahh) I was desperate and took us to the chiropractor! Channing enjoyed chillin on the ground as I filled out massive amounts of paper work. (notice how she always have to be touching me..at all times..my personal leech : ) a very pretty personal leech lol)As usual I was told that my back is screwed up. Big surprise.....my vertebrae suckNormal neck on the left with the curve..my screwed up neck with no curve on the rightDavids Aunt Vickey and Uncle Ken came to visit and brought his cousins child Ava. We had a blast with them : ) they came over for dinner and we played the wii , the next day we went to the beach all day, and the next we went out to Melvins for some yummy bacon cheeseburger mmmmmmmm. (and this is the only picture I got from the whole visit lol)Aunties Natalie and Nicole came home from a long trip to Idaho and Channing was so excited they were home! She loved on auntie all night.Maria brought her grandson with her two days and channing was in love. She likes the older men."Mom! don't interrupt me when I'm flirting with boys" Of course she had to show for Jullian and show him what a sweet ride she hasMy little doll babyThis past week we had the Nichols family reunion. We spent a great day on the beach and followed up with some Melvins.Channing was soooo excited Aunt Kori was here visiting.She kept giving Uncle Rex kisses ...notice the wet spots on his shoulder lolThese are the first great grands of the group (my cousin Whitney's baby Alden..she is pregnant with number 2 now : ) ..and of course ChanningMy life would be amazing if I lived near her lolAfter Melvins we went for a walk on the pier and played at the park My camera sucks mega..the whole family on the pierMy Aunt Cindy and my cousin KateCould you live in a more beautiful place?she loves her daddy so muchpiggy back rides on the way home : )The next day we went to Sullivans Island and did a little paddle boarding, tennis on the beach, and swimming.Channing thinks it is hilarious to pretend eat herWhitney and Alden and due really soon with baby 2 a little girlMy cousins Kate and CecilySo apparently the jelly fish are out really bad Rex got stung really bad all up his leg it wrapped around and Chase stepped on a sea urchin and had to go get surgery on his foot to get all the pines outThe guys coming back from paddling boardingplaying playing playingWhitt is so tiny everywhere except for a little ball it is the cutest prego belly ever...I seriously need to look like this if I ever do it again lolHale girls I had to post this to document her tiny little tummy This was obviously the first day I think David has been in the sun hahahAfter the beach we hit up some Gilligans (Aunt Natalie bought Chan her top and Kori bought her the pants..thanks aunties!)The last day we went to Daniel Island pool and lounged out, played some basketball pool knock out, and ate some yummy food.My cousin Tolson and his newlywed bride Lisa fell asleep holding hands it was so cute.Aunt step and mamaThe camera fogged over but I love Channings little smocked outfits on sundays The whole gang for Nichols family reunion 2011.
My little angel is 8 months old and is a hoot. She loves to dance when music comes on, play with other babies her age, climb up stairs, play the piano, and talk your ear off. Random Quote
