Kori Visits

This past weekend I was lucky enough to have my sister Kori come visit from Utah. It made me realize how lucky i am to have sisters and realized that there isn't anyone like a sister. I share things i can't tell anyone else with her, shes happy when I'm happy and sad with me when I'm sad, she will always listen to me complain and gives me the best advice, we laugh constantly and she knows all my inside jokes, she always supports me even if I don't make the best decisions, and she is the best aunt to Channing. Bottom line I love her I'm blessed to have her as my sister and I am so excited she came and stayed with us! We can't wait for the summer to see a lot of her. When she came to visit we were so busy going to weddings and hanging out with friends but we still got the majority of our check list done. We were able to make Channing more braclets (a lot more lol with the help of Julia), cut my hair, make a blog, and catch up.

Lauren and Kevins Wedding

Saturday March 26th was my friend Lauren's wedding. I never get to see her because she lives in a different state but I love hanging out with her when we get the chance. She cracks me up and we have so many similarites that i always love being around her. My Dad is so busy 24/7 that he didn't have time to drive up to North Carolina so he rented a plane to take us up for the wedding. It was freezing and rainy that day but you didn't even realize it when you saw Lauren because she looked so beautiful! (and yes i helped pick out her dress had to add that in there hahah) Her wedding was full of spice and pop which is def. Lauren it was so fun. During the reception almost as soon as they got there we got a call from the piolt saying we had to leave RIGHT then or else we wouldn't be able to get home. I was sooo sad that i didn't get to talk to Lauren or get a piture with her but we are going to go visit soon so we can catch up! Side note... it was Channings first time on a plane!!!!! She loved it! Wanted to take a picture of our family for her first time on a plane! Of course Coco was there David and Me at the wedding Lauren and Kevin look at that car!

Mom and Baby Picnic

Sat March 26th we got a group of the moms that we talk to on facebook together for a mom and baby picnic. (but we didnt end up eating and got for serious burnt hahahha) It was great to get together and meet all the sweet babies and get to have some mom talk! Conclusion from the picnic Sarah Jane is the most chill baby ever and has some amazing blue eyes, and Thomas is so sweet and a stud muffin picking up all the ladies and is also the exact boy version of channing personality wise...lauren feels my pain lol. Hopefully we can all meet once a month for playdates and add on more moms and babies! My little Diva This will be in wedding slideshow one day : ) Baby Thomas loving on Channing..she hasn't made up her mind yet about the situation Kori took one for the team and sacrificed herself so Channing wouldnt get burnt and so i could talk to my friends..love you kor : ) and you rock that farmers tan hahaha p.s. I'm sad i didnt get a picture of Sarah Jane with Chan next time! and we have to get one of the moms next time!

Twins Birthday

So Friday night was Natalie and Nicoles 18th birhtday! They probably didn't want to spend it with there two boring, married, older sisters but we made them anyway : ) We celebrated by going out to Menchies (frozen yogurt bar), and then taking the party over to Ross where we picked out the ugliest outfits we could find and took pictures in them (Kori has those on her camera so i can't post them but they are pretty dang funny) and we bought some pimp cups at Ross, we then headed over to my apartment where we partied and watched Knight and Day. I love my little sisters (i will love them more in a couple of years when i dont have to basically live with them lol) but I am blessed to have them in my life. Love you Natalie and Nicole and Happy Birthday! Warning these pictures are very unatractive but they were funny so i had to post them : ) Just want to clarify it is water in the fancy cups and boot shot glasses lol and even Rhen was there (on the phone...always..never in person lol) David decided we should be Cowboys and ride the Bull (Channings bouncy cow) because of my cowboy shot glass lol Thats right the old ladies were the last ones left standing : ) fist pumpin and kickin the youngins out

Courtney and Justins Wedding

Friday March 25th we went to Courtney and Justins wedding. The wedding and reception was BEAUTIFUL the definition of southern elegance. I wish i would have gotten pictures of the reception it was great! They had a fried seafood bar, lantern and candles everywhere, boiled peanuts, old style coke bottles..anyway i wont go on and on about that but it was so fun. I was hesitant about takng Channing because she usually can't go 10 mins without crying but she didn't make a peep! I was a proud mama : )

First beach trip for Chan

March 19 was Channings first trip to the beach! We went with our friends Julie, Ethan and there son Atticus. Channing wasn't to thrilled about the wind but it was fun watching Atticus run around he LOVED the beach hahha. After the beach we went to the restraunt Poes Tavern and ate some YUMMY food (and got dirty looks from a thousand young people because channing was crying and Atticus was fascinated with throwing things and making his mom pick them up haha). I wish people had a little bit more sympathy for people with kids it is SO much harder to control them than people think!!! After we ate we went to see my parents who had just gotten home from Idaho and Channing was soooo excited to see them that she laughed for the first time ever for her Sugar (my mom). It was the cutest thing ever to hear her laugh. Yes i am a little obsessed with her lol. Channing on our way to the beach! coco

For christmas my sister (kori) gave me a 100 dollar gift card for tjmax (yesss i know i have the most amazing sister ever). I was given strict instructions to only spend this money on myself....which...of course didnt exactly happen lol. I ended up getting some (fat) clothes for myself because nothing fits that used to fit and 3 bunnies that Kori named Coco. Channing is in LOVE with her Coco's and we don't go anywhere without at least 2 with us at all times.

March 18th

March 18 Chan and I went over for a playdate at the Gurleys house. It was soooo cute to see all three babies playing and watching Baby Einstein together it made me smile. I also loved getting to talk to my friend Kim and get some advice on my fussy love bug. I think Channing and Claire are going to have so much fun together when they get older. I can't wait! : ) Channing, Claire, and Jaxson watching Baby Einstein together...so freggin cute. That night my friend Kathryn and her husband Chris came up to visit us on the way to pick up there son Gaige. We stayed up talking wayyyyyy to late and had a blast! I can't wait till we get to see them again and meet little Gaige (a.k.a chris's twin) lol Had to add a picture of them from the trip so I can look back in 50 years and remember the trip!

I love that we were blessed with a baby girl! I have so much fun dressing Channing every day. Aunt Kori made Chan this onesie and my friend Kim gave her these adorable leg warmers. (o and she never goes anywhere without a bow and a braclet)

Two Weekends Ago

I'm trying to start blogging so that hopefully i will print off what i write once every few months and put it in a folder so i can have a journal without acctually having to write everything down. I'm recording as far back as I can remember right now...a.k.a two weeks lol.

Channing just turned three months in this picture. She has to be in the center of what is happening or is really NOT happy. I love my little cooking helper (shes in a boy hand me down sleeper i went that weekend and got her girl sleepers at the mom to mom sale b.c. i cant resist seeing her in pink and ruffles).
