Strawberry Patch

Channing is a changed baby now that her intestines aren't getting torn apart every time she eats. She is perfectly content looking around when we go on a walk (if I'm carrying her not in a stroller lol), or talking to me babbling away all day, she is all about picking up everything she can get her hands on and trying to naw away at it. It has been so much easier to go do things and take Chan places. Last week after going to my mom work out class that i go to every morning Ellie and I took Channing and Perry to pick strawberries. She had a a blue strawberry dress and bonnet on to match the strawberry theme : ).

My two helpers in the kitchen..Daddy has the big spoon and baby has the matching little one : ) On the way to the strawberry patch it was a tough workout....don't judge hahah her dress has strawberries all over it..you can't really see them Pooped out after!!!

Old Pictures From Phone

I am so clumsy and break my phones very easy. I've dropped one in the toilet, one in the marsh, blown up the speakers on one, and lost countless. Needless to say phones tend to come and go and I wanted to get some of my pictures off of the one I have now in case something happened. This is the 3rd day...sleeping on the couch with my baby girl Smiling: ) sleeping with socks on her hands so she wont scratch her face when she was little Playing in the morning we always have bed time play when she wakes up Enjoying the outside in her favorite toy She looks like Kori here David and I were talking today about how fast things change. It seems like yesterday that we brought Channing home and she was sooooo tiny in her carseat and now she fills up the whole thing and is going to need a big girl car seat soon. I love my sunshine and i cherish every day that i have with her.

Prego Belly

WARNING if pregnant bellies offend you then don't look at this post! I always felt disgusting my whole pregnancy and never wanted to take pictures because it grossed me out. My friend Julie convinced me to document my belly growth and looking back I am glad I did because it's crazy to watch the change from week to week. So many people told me that I would miss being pregnant but four months later I have not for one tiny sec ever wished I was pregnant again lol. I had extreme sickness throwing up all day and night long to the point that I passed out because of dehydration. I had to carry around a cup at all times that I would throw up in when I was driving, in school, or wherever I was that I couldn't make it to a trashcan or toilet fast enough. I had to go to physical therapy for my back and bladder from issues from being pregnant. I gained 56 pounds and wrecked my body even with walking 2 plus miles every night and watching what I ate. I had down south infections that nothing could get rid of and I was in school the whole time at the end I couldn't even fit in the tiny desks. There was so much more but I'm not even going to get into that. I'm sorry if I sound like a complete whiner I'm just so jealous of people that have semi easy pregnancies, and I am not looking forward to ever having to do this again. 24 weeks 26 weeks 27 weeks 28 weeks 32 weeks 33 weeks 34 weeks 36 weeks 37 weeks 38 weeks This was the day after I had her. That tiny baby made me that huge..thank goodness I didn't have twins lol.

Boo Boo LOVVEESSS this toy. I got it for her for 20 dollars at the mom to mom sale and it was worth every cent. Channing plays every morning in this when I'm running around (late) in the morning trying to throw clothes on and get her bag together (this is her today when i was eating lunch). It is blurry but i love how she talks and plays now : ).

Channing likes to practice walking she will alternate picking up her feet and stepping. I know that isn't anything special but it just reminds me that before I know it my angel will be walking and talking...bitter sweet.

April Fools

April Fools day fell on the Friday that we were up turkey hunting so I decided to get the whole family in on pranking David. When I was deciding what prank I should do on David I tried to brain storm things that would REALLY freak him out and the one that he would freak the most on is if I was pregnant. I know this isn't an original one but it's a classic so i had to give it a go. I had left over hcg from when I worked at this diet clinic so i thought that it would make the pregnancy test turn positive because that is the pregnancy hormone that it detects. So Mickey (Davids mom) and I waited until David went to take a nap and then went about trying to get the tests to turn positive, it didn't work but we decided to do it anyway and hope David wasn't an expert on pregnancy tests and wouldn't know what the negative and positive signs were. We put the tests on the back of the toilet with a sign that said congrats filled everyone in on the plan and went for a walk and waited for him to wake up. We all sat down for dinner expecting David to say something, he never did, so eventually i asked him if he would be really upset if i was pregnant. (I had been acting like I was pregnant for a week to fake him out easier : ) haha) He responding by saying "your not pregnant", I told him to go look on the back of the toilet. He immediately jumped up and went and looked when he came back Mickey was like " there is some things you joke about and some things you don't". My mom played along and began to scold us for not being careful etc. , by this point he started to look pail and was fooled for sure. I then started cracking up laughing and told him the truth. As much as we love our Channing we just simply couldn't handle another one anytime soon. It was a good laugh and a great prank.

Turkey Hunting

The first weekend in April we went up to The Outback Quail Club and turkey hunted Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Mickey (Davids mom) came up with us to watch Channing while we hunted. I love/hate going up there. Mrs. Carol makes the best and most fattening food that i can never resist so i love it because its amazing and I hate it because I always come back fatter haha. Friday we couldn't get Channing to go to bed because it was the first night not breast feeding her to sleep so she stayed up wayyyy late past 12 and then tossed and turned the whole night next to me and finally got up at 3. We left to go hunt at 5 in the morning, yes i got a total of 3 hours of sleep yay, and both days I shot my bird before 9..yes I'm that good lol. This year the gobblers weren't interested in the hens calling they would only come after other gobblers. I would also like to say that I got the first bird of the season and the biggest bird and got two in one shot like every year : ) .
